By accessing and using HEIC2JPG ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

HEIC2JPG provides a free, browser-based tool for converting HEIC image files to other formats including JPG, PNG, and WEBP. The conversion process happens entirely within your web browser using client-side technology.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Convert images that you do not have the right to use or modify
• Use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to abuse or overload the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others

Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to images you convert using our Service. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your images. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we never upload or store your images.

Our Content

The Service itself, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by HEIC2JPG and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or design without permission.

Commercial Use

You may use the Service for personal or commercial purposes to convert your own images or images you have rights to convert. However, you may not:

• Resell or redistribute the Service itself
• Frame or embed the Service as your own product
• Remove or obscure any branding, credits, or notices

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, quality, or reliability of converted images

We strive to provide high-quality conversions, but image quality may vary based on source files, browser capabilities, and user settings.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEIC2JPG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Damages from converted images that do not meet your expectations

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
